Joey Swanson

• 19th year as summer coach
• 5th year as Saint Martin's University Assistant Coach, Hitting/Catching Coach
• Owner and Director of Northwest Reign Baseball Club and former Director of PC Diamond Jaxx (2008-2015) and NW Timberjacks coach and trainer (2001-2008)

• Over 25+ years of playing, coaching, umpiring  and instructing experience
• Current E|L1 Catching and Hitting Instructor
• Current College Prep Team head coach
• Catching and hitting coordinator

 Roster is made up of returners players from Junior Scout team and tryouts as well as 16u eligible players. This team plays majority of games on college fields as well as regional tournaments. Tournaments in years past include Ron Omari Classic (Edmonds CC), GSL College Showcase, Cardinal Classic (Skagit Valley College) and others.  

Joey Swanson enters his fourth season as a head coach of Northwest Reign (19th year as summer coach) and is also the Northwest Reign program director, catching coordinator and hitting coordinator.  Team is geared towards identifying talented high school lower classmen who can fill in College Prep team the following year. This team plays majority if not all games on a college field as well as regional and national tournaments. Tournaments in years past include USA Baseball 17u Team Championships (AZ), Portland Classic (Univ of Portland/Concordia), Palouse Summer Series (Washington State University/Pullman area), Univ of Oregon Team Camp (OR), Univ of Washington Team Camp and GSL College Showcase as well as others. 

Head coach is Dalton Bidon who is in his third year as a coach for Northwest Reign. Dalton attended College of the Desert in CA then transferred to Bethany College (KS) where he hit .336 for his career. Dalton graduated with a degree in accounting and finance in 2017. Roster is made up of returning players from year before and will play in local and regional tournaments.  This team is coached and motivated very well and has been in our program for three years.  Team also helps identify players eligible for College Prep team in the future.

John Mattson will look to put together a 10u team for the first year.  They will have the option to play year round and are "little league friendly" meaning players can choose to play for both NW Reign and little league with their friends.
